German course Intermediate B1 to B2 online small groups

Course description

Learning Goals
The goal is to help you break out of basic conversations and communicate in German with true social confidence. You'll be able to handle practical situations like job interviews, doctor visits, or resolving issues over the phone, but also share opinions, understand details, and join group discussions. This course gets you ready for a more independent life—at work, in studies, and among friends.
Skills you Gain
You’ll take part in longer, more natural conversations—booking appointments, making small talk, explaining your feelings, and discussing plans. You’ll ask and answer follow-up questions easily, express your ideas clearly, and react spontaneously even when the topic changes. Reading emails and articles, writing short messages, and following group chats become doable, too. Everyday hassles—like explaining a problem to a landlord or clarifying details at work—can be handled without stress.
Course Content
Each session you join a small, supportive group where everyone shares stories, debates topics, and learns from each other’s mistakes. You’re encouraged to speak, even if you’re unsure—your teacher helps you express your point and gives gentle feedback so you understand how to sound more natural. Mistakes are part of the process! The teacher explains everything in clear English when needed, so you never feel lost. You’ll learn to react appropriately, keep conversation flowing, and spot your own habits. Laughter is normal, and no one rushes—you have time to practice, reflect, and try again until it feels right.

You only need a smartphone or laptop with internet access. No extra materials, books, or software are required. Bring your readiness to participate and try out new ways of expressing yourself in German. A quiet space and a willingness to speak up will help you make the most of the course.
